I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my Healthy Loser class that’s starting next week. Like “How much can I lose?” and “Will I have to starve myself, and give up everything I love?”. These are good questions, and I’m happy to answer them, and more, so see below.
If your question isn’t answered, please send it to me. If you’re wondering, probably others are too. But don’t wait too long, because class starts next Thursday, July 5th, and I want you to have your choice of flavors for the protein shake! (You’re going to love how easy it makes breakfast, how good it tastes and how satisfying it is when you make it my way.)
Q: How much weight can I lose?
A: Mostly this depends on how closely you follow my suggestions. A steady 1-2 pounds a week is great, and losing 15-25 pounds during the program is possible. You will be healing your metabolism, and that will serve you far beyond the 10 weeks. More important than that one number, is that you will be losing body fat and belly fat, so your clothes size should get smaller, and you will be leaner, trimmer, and healthier.
Q: Will I have to starve myself?
A: Not only will you not have to starve yourself on this program, you will never have to starve yourself again. And you will understand why deprivation and hunger work against you if you want to maintain weight loss.
Q: Are you going to tell me to give up everything I love to eat?
A: I am going to share with you the knowledge and experience that makes people succeed in losing body fat, and reclaiming their health and vitality. You might be very surprised to learn the truth about what you can have and what you should eliminate. Also, I don’t believe in removing one support without providing another, so I am going to give you lots of “horizontal shifts” that you can make so that it will be a pain-free process.
Q: Will I have to spend hours in the gym?
A: NO! I am going to give you the secret to optimizing the effectiveness of your workout time and reducing the time you need to do it.
Q: Will you help me individually during the class?
A: Yes, each person will get some one on one time with me during the 10 weeks, as well as the opportunity to schedule full sessions with me at a special discounted fee.
Q: That’s a lot of money. Is there a payment plan? And what do I get for it?
A: Part of what you’re paying for is SEVENTY meals, that you will use once a day during the 10 weeks. You will have regular individual body composition analysis, and the benefit of my almost 20 years’ successful experience helping men, women and teens lose weight by getting healthy. If you need a payment plan, you can pay $325 now and $325 by the third class.
Q: I don’t have time to do a lot of special cooking. Will I still be able to do this?
A: Absolutely! We all live busy lives, me included, and I am expert at sharing ways to keep it simple and do-able.
Q: I already know what to eat. Why will it be different this time?
A: First of all, most people only know what is “theoretically” good to eat, not what is exactly right for them individually. While I will have limited time to help each person individually, I can help you figure it out based on my very extensive experience. I will also be offering the option of an additional one on one session to participants, if they want that customized individual guidance. Secondly, there is a tremendous amount of misinformation and misunderstanding out there. Clearing this up will help you make dramatic changes, more easily than you might expect.
Q: Will you be addressing psychological issues of weight loss and eating?
A: Yes, it is essential to engage the emotional and psychological aspects of this process, including how to change your habits and your relationship to food and eating.
Q: Can my teenager join the class?
A: Absolutely! S/he will learn sound principles that will support her/him throughout life.
