I have known Nina Rao and Ambika for several years as part of Krishna Das’ “back up band”. But last fall I got to hear them sing on their own, and I was just blown away by the beauty, the power and the pure feminine divine that came through them and filled each of us in the room. I have been trying to get them to come lead a kirtan in my “neighborhood” ever since, and am thrilled to share the good news: they will be at Happy Buddha Yoga on Sunday, June 27 from 5-7PM. Tickets are $15, and kids under 12 are free.
Please don’t miss this unique event. You don’t need to know or love kirtan to appreciate it. You just have to be open to joy.
