This is no surprise to me.
In fact, in the 6 week Resilience group I recently facilitated, participants, all of whom were going through very stressful times, found that practicing one of the several meditations we learned in the group not only helped them fall asleep more easily, but helped them go back to sleep quickly and easily if they woke during the night.
