Heartburn Drugs Tied to Dementia Risk

The popular heartburn drugs known as proton pump inhibitors have been linked to a range of ills: bone fractures, kidney problems, infections and more. Now a large new study has found that they are associated with an increased risk for dementia as well. Source: Heartburn Drugs Tied to Dementia Risk – The New York Times

The sad thing, from my perspective, is how SIMPLE it is to successfully eliminate heartburn, when you identify and address the root cause. Heartburn drugs, whether prescription or over the counter, only try to manage the symptom, never dealing with what actually causes it.

I have successfully helped vast numbers of clients – from 2 year olds to 70somethings, get off the medications and remain symptom free. Usually it’s some combination of food sensitivity, inflammation and infection, that can be fairly simply addressed.

If you have heartburn and would like help, please make an appointment, either in person or by Skype, so I can help you, too.

  1. Hi! I am suffering from terrible heartburn and reflux. Can you inform me how to contact you for a consultation?

    Kind Regards

    1. Thanks for getting in touch. I would love to help you address your concerns.

My initial consultation is three hours: the first part to take a very thorough history (health, nutrition, medical, emotional, lifestyle, activity, stress level, sleep, family, etc), and review blood work, then do my very extensive “detective work”, which includes looking at food sensitivities, environmental issues, and any underlying microbial problems, and finally, I will customize a program for you, including nutrition and supplements.

You will leave your first session with a good idea of what is going on, and how to get started feeling better.

There is no more important investment than health and vitality. They make everything else possible.

Most clients book on line. It’s simple and convenient. If you are ready to make your appointment, click on Appointments with Fran, to the upper right, then on Initial Consultation, then you can scroll through the calendar to find a day and time that works for you.  Please make a note in the comments if we will be working by phone or skype.

If you need help or have further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. It would be a pleasure and a privilege to support you in achieving – and even surpassing – your goals.
Thanks again for getting in touch, and I look forward to working with you.
      warm regards,
